Welsh football star Aaron Ramsey has raised the reward for information regarding the missing pet named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.

the dog, who vanished on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of where she was last seen.

"Any news regarding our pet Halo please get in touch with us. Big bounty for locating her. We are all wishing she is safe and can be back with us quickly," the athlete wrote on social media.

Earlier Reward and Emotional Pleas

Ramsey initially announced that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded numerous pictures of the beloved dog on his social media account.

A $$10k bounty was originally provided, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the reward.

"All we desire is our girl back," he stated in a further appeal on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet disappeared.

The most recent image post is a monochrome image of Halo snoozing, its head resting in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "How I wish to hold you once more sweet Halo."

Family's Anxieties and Context

The footballer has also posted a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have a few "pressing concerns" surrounding the event and are concerned the family "could possibly not obtain clarity".

"To this day we have not located Halo. I fear we ever will," his wife's post stated.

The Welsh captain became part of Mexico's premier team Pumas UNAM recently and had his debut in Liga MX in August.
